ISKCON OF SAN DIEGO

ISKCON of San Diego, commonly known as the San Diego Hare Krishna Temple, has been a part of the Pacific Beach community of San Diego since 1977.  We are open to the public 365 days a year, and all are invited to attend our services and classes, as well as our weekly Sunday KrishnaFest and the many festivals we hold throughout the year.  Our purpose is to spread the teachings of Krishna Consciousness as taught by our Founder-Acharya, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, who brought this message to the United States from India in 1965.

WEEKLY EVENTS

FOUNDER – ACHARYA

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) was founded by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada back in 1966. In the eleven years that followed its founding, Srila Prabhupada established temples all over the world. This would include our temple here in San Diego, which was established in 1970. Our humble efforts are dedicated to the mission and teachings of His Divine Grace.
